One of the many reasons why bingo is so popular around the world is the nicknames that players have for particular numbers when they are called out. In fact, in different parts of the world, players have different nicknames for the game itself and the aspects in it. In the United Kingdom, the nicknames for numbers are often associated with, or rhyme with the popular phrase Bingo Lingo. As such, there are rhymes for numbers all the way from 1 to 90, where some of the nicknames date back to three or four decades!

In some games, the Bingo Caller will say the number and the players at the table will synonymously rhyme the called out numbers. While this is possibly a comprehensive list, it is not definite as in different parts of the UK, and in different cultures, the nicknames vary. Even different Bingo Halls have exclusive nicknames, some of which go out of fashion, while others are replaced with more trend specific versions.

While not common, you may be able to find online bingo games where nicknames of numbers are called out.
